The next National Trust property along the A9 is called The Hermitage. It is in Tay Forest Park which is known as Big Tree Country. This beautiful woodland walk beside the River Braan, a tributary of the River Tay, takes you to one of the tallest trees in the UK. It stands 59m tall, yet it’s only about 130 years old.
